is it possible for subutex to cause very swollen ankles and slightly swollen feet after taking it for at least 3wks? or can it be a sign of chronic constipation or liver damage?
if you havent already found the answer....
Subutex forces the brain to produce more dopamine, and eventually it will completely disrupt the brains natural production of serotonin, norepenephrine, and dopamine (just got off it after 4 years) -- so swollen ankles and feet is unlikely. That symptom is commonly associated with heart problems...however because there is so little known on long term effects of subutex on the body i wouldnt rule out liver damage. since the liver metabolizes the drugs you take... maybe subutex can damage your liver, esp. if you have a pre-existing condition.

what are you taking for chronic constipation? i took senna or sennocot, just an all natural herbal laxative so you can take it twice a day and it wont be harmful on your body... i had a problem w. that since i was on subutex for such and awful long damn time.
