I agree when you loose the first 5 lbs you are motivated! This is the only diet where I see results! I love it!

i have had a steady weight loss since jan 2011 and have lost 3 stone , i have done this my changing my lifestyle and eating better with lots of exercise, which i love. 4 weeks ago my steady weight loss came to a stop. I thought the 3 day diet would be a great way of getting it started again, im on day 3 and this morning was weighing 5 pounds lighter than when i started. I cant wait to get on the scales in the morning to see the final result. This diet has remotivated me and kicked my body into loosing weight again.My starting weight was 16 stone i am know 12 stone 9 pounds. My aim is 11 stone i am a 5'9 and a 31 year old mum. so fingers crossed ill be at my target by xmas. Thanks 3 day diet .

I just started day 2 of this diet and am loving it! I woke up this morning 2.2 lbs lighter, and I drank about 10 glasses of water yesterday, so I know it's not water weight! I don't feel like I'm depriving myself, either, because I get to have ice cream at the end of the day! I'm just using this to jump start a healthy eating regimen, but I'm so excited to see how the results turn out in two days!

I started this diet yesterday upon recommendations from my recruiter.  I have 60lbs to lose.  I went to the gym yesterday and had 10 cups of water.  I didnt lose a darn thing as of this morning.  Still on the diet though.  My fear is that since I eat healthy on a regular basis and still dont drop the pounds, that this diet wont work for me either.  It seems the only thing that works for me is going  on a veggie/fruit juice fast.  (juicing my own produce, not store bought).  I just cant handle fasting so much!

Okboys and girls. Food is a science in itself, i noticed one person who will be juicing their own fruit as part of a diet. All i can say to this is you are making a sugar drink (Just because its narural don't make it any less full of sugars). If you really want to learn about the science behind food visit WWW.simplyshredded.com  . Dont be put off by the pics of muscular and toned bodies of the people on the front page. Have a look at the nutrition section just as an eye opener as to why to eat certain foods at certian times. Your body is always high in something or low in something with regards to dieting and knowing when to eat what will reap massive rewards. The 3 day diet utilises a small part of this science, Its not just simply less calories = weight loss. Its about replenishing your body with what it needs to get the fat burning process started again and keeping under control the processes that stop the body burning fats. Have a read and you shall be enlightened (Literally hopefully). :)

Its because you built up muscle from running. People that don't have a lot to loose won't lose the 10 pounds. Good job running!

what would happen if you did the diet for 2 weeks...like do the diet for 6 days running and had the 7th day off and started it again? would you still lose weight within the additional 3days?

That's is not true... It is so not harmful, please give me a brake! u are not starving on this diet #1, #2 if you eat nothing but soups u wont lose 9 lbs in three days, ,, maybe 1 pound a day, and is way unhealthy. keep negative comments to yourself, because you obvously don't know that is does not matter how slowly u lose weight if you go back to old habits u will go back to old ways, it has nothing to do about losing fast or slow... Ridiculous!

If you look at the whole diet plan - it says "eat these foods for 3 days and then eat healthy for 4 days, then you can go back to the strick 3 day plan". I don't see that as a short diet. I have done weight watchers of and on for a few years now and it helped me learn about portions. I think this diet will do the same for many.

I have had a hard time losing the weight I gained from being pregnant.  I was successful on WW before I got pregnant and have incorporated much that I had learned into my everyday eating.  I just don't have the time as a small business owner and new mom to rejoin WW and found this diet as an alternative.  I have done fasts in the past to detox so I knew it would be a breeze. Well it wasn't a total breeze, but I had success my first week and am starting again tomorrow.  I think if you are already fairly health conscious it is worth a try!
