I had a vasectomy at 28 years old.  I now regret the decision because of the slight health problems it has produced.  Everything was fine for years up until about 5 years ago.  I began noticing that my scrotum pulls so incredibly tight and causes pain.

Diagnosis:  The vas deferas that was cauterized during the vasectomy has adhered to the inner wall of my scrotum.  The problems is, when it adhered to the wall, it attached to the lower part of my scrotum which causes it to pull up excessively on the sack.  It's like your scrotum is in cold mode all the time instead of hanging properly.  Sometimes the pull is so much that it is painful.  I went to a urologist and of course was quickly advised to do exploritory surgical.  Cutting scrotum open, pulling out testicles, etc.  was the words being used.  I don't think so.  I asked for just a simple cut on both sides similar to having a vasectomy to detach from the wall of the scrotum.  Not enough money in that for the Urologist I assume because he refused.

My advise, don't ever get a vasectomy.  It will cause you problems later in life.
