3weeks ago I slipped on the ice and fell flat on my back causing severe swelling the size of a dinner plate that protrudes out about 2 inches. Icing has not helped decrease the swelling and I don't know what else to do. There is some pain as well that is like a burning sensation. What can I do?
i have had the same thing. I fell down some escape stairs at my apartment, about a 8 months ago and i still have the same swelling. No more bruises but it it tender to the touch. I know i should have went to the doctor but that isnt a option and i would like to figure out whats wrong before it go. im only 20 years old and this is kinda odd to have a swelling this long.

Well,
It is very dangerous when people fall on their backs because the spine can get easily injured and this can cause many complications in the movement. The swelling is big and you should’ve seen your doctor about this. You need to find some topical cream that will help you reduce the swelling. Have you had any pain in your lower back? You should use some pain killers in order to reduce the pain in your back. Have you noticed any changes in the skin color? I heard that some say that cider vinegar is also good for swellings. I hope this helped you in any way.

All the best,
Nelie
