i have noticed that the left side of my tummy swells, then i get sharp pains in my lower back ,left side, what could cause this??

Im 23 male..iv been experiencing this pain on my left side.i feel this early in the morning sometimes evening.is this becoz im only hungry? or it has sumthing to do with my colon? u see im working 6am in the morning and i feel like i hv a diarrhea but after work i dont feel it anymore..i guess its im just tense in work.what do u think is the reason of the pain on the left side?
Maybe you can be pregnant or probably is stomach gas
