I just had sex for the first time yesterday and afterwards a swollen bubble formed on the whole right side of the ring under my head I cannot pull my foreskin over this. Is this just swelling that I should allow to go down its self or something more serious?

It could be more serious. You are describing paraphimosis which can cause circulation problems to your penis. Is it still swollen? If so, see your doctor ASAP. If very swollen, consider going to an emergency room.
