Hi. I was recently diagnosed with herpes recently. I’ve afterwards realized that the cause for it were swollen groin nodes. Can anybody here tell me, do I need to remove them and they cause some other more serious disease like cancer?

Swollen glands groin are very common for both normal and genital herpes. On the other hand, there is no relationship between herpes-induced lymph nodes and cancer so you can rule that possibility out. Also, I haven’t heard for any other “serious diseases”, as you call them, related to these symptoms so I personally think you don't need to have them removed.
