Last night it was immediate, it was hard to swollow, it scared me. When I got up my right side of throat is very sore, my right ear is painful and under my right armpit is swollen. What could this be. I did have some chicken wings last night.
2 days prior to this I was sick to my stomach, weak and nauseas.

I'm no doctor by any means but my boyfriend just had something very similar a couple weeks ago. He had a lump grow almost over night on his foot and his groin area and his armpits were very sore. It was also accompanied by a high temperature. It turns out he had a lymph infection and the Dr. treated it with antibiotics. He was better within a couple of days.

I've had a sore throat for probably a month now. At first I figured it was from all the smoke in the air from the wild fires here in California. Then one day (couple weeks ago) it got quite a bit worse and I was feeling under the weather. That night when shaving I noticed there were several swollen lymph nodes in my right armpit.. not something I've ever had before. I continued to feel ill the next couple of weeks, though the swelling went away mostly and I'm left with strange shooting pains and burning sensations in both of my armpits, mostly the right though. It even shoots down into my breasts or my arms at times. Also the gland under my chin felt swollen and throat felt swollen and hurt significantly every time I swallowed food, still does a bit. I've had nausea on and off and chills, felt overall sick like when you have the flu, but no fever. I don't know what to make of this. I saw the doctor and he worries it may be cancer. He is sending me for a scan of my glands. Doesn't it seem more likely like it would be mono or strep or something though? With COVID going around I really get to thinking and wondering what all kinds of viruses we might be contending with at any given time, but just don't know it. I guess I'll wait for the scan and hope for the best. Just curious if anyone else has had cold symptoms and armpit pain like this?
