For about 2-4 days now, I've noticed that both on my left and right sides of my throat, I believe my lymph nodes have become quite swollen. The left side appears to be more swollen then the right side, if that makes any difference.
Also, I've noticed I'm having trouble swallowing as well. It almost feels as if I have a rock caught in my throat with the pain that occurs when I swallow. The pain is more in the right side of my throat, just under my Adam's Apple [or so it feels]
In the past day or so, I've also noticed that when I'm not taking over-the-counter pain-killers, my throat gets a bit tighter, though I can still breath just fine...
I've put off going to the doctor as of so far, but with the pain and having to take pain-killers almost constantly to avoid the pain while I work, I'm concerned the problem will either get in my way of living or simply won't go away.

I have simular problems and think it may be allergy related. I've taken benedryl since my sinus also seems to be an issue but I have an appt with a ENT today so I hope I get an answer. I would suggest you do the same since its a sign of infection or could be an allergic reaction that may cause breathing problems.
If you can not get to the Dr try allergy meds to see if it helps, but if it does not you may need antibiotics.
Good Luck
