Recently my son had a swollen neck gland and treated with antibiotics. Approximately 4 days later he complained of left shoulder pain which I treated with motrin which helped alleviate the pain. He is now a week on antibiotics, neck gland completely down but is experiencing increased left shoulder pain. My pediatrician decided to just observe the pain for a few days, he feels it may just be an irritation. Does anyone have any input?
I recently completed antibitotics (amoxycillin) after a root canal, and the day following, my left shoulder experienced pain. It's been three days and the pain has somewhat ebbed, but I have no strength in my reach due to the pain . For instance, reaching to close my car door is very painful, or removing a t-shirt. I'm hoping I simply slept on my left arm in a wrong manner as I have not done anything to have caused this issue.
I've done antibiotics before without issue, and I've never traunatized my left arm/shoulder.
A friend of mine had a tendon issue after antibiotics (speculation by his MD) - does anyone know if there is a correlation with shoulder pain and antibiotics?

I started taking an antibiotic thursday evening. It is now Saturday morning and I woke up with really bad pain in my left shoulder as well. It's almost like a pain with numbness that is effecting the shoulder and going down my right arm into my fingers. If anyone has any suggestions/thoughts I would greatly appreciate it.
*LEFT arm. Sorry. That should have read going down through my left arm and into my fingers.
Seems like alot of people get ailments from taking medication. makes you wonder
