That's what I get on latest posts. If I open one, when I go back the others are all gone with one exception. If there is one or two they appear to be ones that came in new while I was looking at the post. Also if I attempt to go to the next page there is nothing there.
My last notification was 4 days ago, I had been getting several every day.

It has been ok up until about a week ago for latest posts for me but since that it's happened quite regular and as for notifications I think that is why people arn't responding always when you reply to posts and ask questions.
I think they should send the developers of the new site back to kindergarden and let the youngsters show them how to do it.
Don't seem to have been any improvements made at all on how it's running. So much for the new and improved better site they kept on about.

I don't answer hardly any these days mainly because if I don't find one on the opening page there won't be another page to look at even if there are 10 plus pages showing.
I was thinking maybe they just made sure mine didn't work because I won the $50 too often. Hey, just because you're paranoid it doesn't mean they're NOT out to get you.
Reminds me of back in the 60s when I was working the radio bench at the local repair shop. We did a lot of car radios back then and there were hardly any non factory radios. There was one company near Boston making a transistor car radio of dubious quality and another one appeared of really poor quality. There was an engineering school near Boston also. We used to joke that the first company hired the new engineers to design their radios and the second company hired the ones who flunked out.

Hi njoynlife, they worked on something but it seems they cannot reproduce the error. I'm trying to write step-by-step and to reproduce the error, and hopefully this would help.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know what the problem is because I'm not a writer or troubleshooter of computer programs but I did spend my life as an electronics troubleshooter so I have a diagnostic mindset. To me the problem was not there until the rewrite so it's likely not anything on my end. I have it on three different computers using three different versions of Windows.
Other's have said they don't have it on mobile devices and I don't know just how they differ from a computer. I appears to me you have something written in to clear the posts after being viewed or accessed or after a certain period of time or they wouldn't be called "latest posts". Whatever is different about that compared to the other lists where they do not get removed must be where the problem is. It seems to be removing too much too soon.
I dabbled in some DOS stuff 25 - 30 years ago when that's what computers ran on and it was fun but that certainly didn't make me a writer. I used to write my own batch files etc. to get it do what I wanted.
Just my 2 cents anyway.

When I come on today I went to timeline and latest post and it just said no latest posts go and check my posts to see if anyone has replied that I haven't been notified of 5 minutes later I go check latest posts again and there is 2 pages full earliest being 2 hours previous to 5 minutes ago, my question is why didn't they show up when I first checked when I first come on?

Well I got a reply notice when you replied.

I did not get notifications at all. Over a week ago I discovered through my Timeline that there had been posts that wanted my input, but I hadn't been notified of them. Today I found another from 6 days ago. I responded, and I got immediate notification of my own response! I am using a computer (Win7). I think I will just give up. It is so embarrassing. I don't want to let people down, so I am not responding to new questions anymore.
Your not the only one with this problem shepherd999 been happening to me since the new site went active sometimes get notification of old posts but very rarely of new post I have answered and they have written a reply to so have to manually check every post but I get a notification if I reply a second time to say I have replied, I use a mobile device with chrome browser and standard stock browser and same on both its getting very frustrating.

Yes all the time and if they was going into junk/spam mail then I wouldn't be getting some notifications in my inbox but not others.
If I receive a private message I always get notified but posts I'm subscribed to are only hit and miss.
