I have been having mild pain/discomfort in my testicle/groin area for months now. I have seen the doctor twice with physical exams, both times everything seems to be fine according to doc. He says it is probably a pull. Im not so sure. The discomfort occurs off and on constantly. No swelling, no lumps, no redness. The testicles retract far more often than before and im worried it could be something serious. Could it be a hernia? I hurt my back months ago by simply straightening up from picking up leaves outside...I couldnt straighten my back for a couple days after that and hurts a lot even now, my neck also. The first time I felt the groin pain I was mowing the lawn. I turned and felt a pain. For about a week it hurt AFTER a cough or sneeze and ever since then it aches like this. Any ideas? Thanks
It could be what doctors call "referred pain." Meaning that the actual location of the pain is your back and the pain travels to your pelvic area, sort of like sciatica pain. You could try doing physical therapy exercises for low back pain, sciatica pain, and pelvic pain along with over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication such as Advil or ibuprofen. At least that's what I did when I experienced back pain that traveled down my right leg.
Ask a medical professional first, of course, prior to doing any of this. I hope you get better.
