A lot of you have complained that program is too much money. Understandable. But it's your health/life, nothing should be too expensive.

I have not ordered the program yet but I do plan on it next week.
I have been to various review sites and it seems the positive reviews outweigh the negative.

So, the food is bland? It's a small price to pay.
I'd rather be a healthy weight eating bland food than a life threatening weight still chomping down McDonalds.

I tried it for six weeks also, and didn't lose anything. And... eating chicken and tuna for breakfast is sick and wrong, but I did it anyway... THEN, I had enormous amounts of trouble getting my money back... They sent me to a collection agency for non payment and it got ugly... I got the BBB involved and they finally stopped harassing me. I would strongly warn against using or attempting to use this program/product.

If you did get it to work for you, that's great! Just posting my experience.

I lost 50 pounds following Michael Thurmond's advice. But I didn't buy the program. I got the Six Day Body Makeover out of the library and followed the plan. You shouldn't stay on the Six Day program too long but he explains the expanded (Six Week) program in the book- so just follow that. You add food to meals and expand your food choices. In fact, if I were going to do it again, I'd start with the Six Week program.

Cook ahead of time and portion out your meals so you can just grab them and go. Try the recipes in the book and make up some of your own. You will be miserable if you eat plain chicken, plain rice, plain vegetables four times a day. Discover spices! The recipes in the book are good and they are easy.

Watch your heart rate. You don't have to work as hard as you think. In fact, I often need to slow down to stay in the right zone. Drink the water.

This is not an easy program. I was very tired the first week. It's hard to remember to eat every two to three hours and it takes a while to adjust to the no salt rule. ALso, I enjoy the feeling of being full and when you eat frequent, small meals you never feel full. But I wasn't hungry either. And I did not have cravings- which is amazing.

It's been almost two years and the weight is still gone. I've occasionally gained weight but if I go back on the program, it comes right back off. I follow Weight Watchers to maintain. But WW was SO SLOW for the weight loss. I got discouraged. With Michael Thurmond, I lost the fifty pounds between June and October of 2006.

I have shaped my body with this program and have lost a lot a weight too! You need to call the 800 number they gave you for help! Also you can't cheat on this program! If you are eating refined sugar and lots of carbs, it will not work!

I have used this program over the years and it really works! Michael Thurmond understands how the body works! I have toned my body and lost a lot of weight! You need to call the 800 number given with the program! and oh, LAY OFF THE PROCESSED FOODS! Only eat natural foods! Every body is different! But you have to follow the program with precision!

The plan really worked for me...I lost about 15 pounds and got down to 129, the lowest I'd been in years. I did get a little tired of fixing all those meals and gradually went back to my old ways of rich meals and desserts. Even though I kept exercising I couldn't keep the weight off. I guess I need to start in on it again. I did feel good doing the plan.

:-D I had been diagnosed with poly cystic ovarian syndrome, which is where your ovary have small cyst that throw your hormones off and are not able to get pregnant. Also it is very hard to lose weight because you are borderline type II diabetic. My first child was concieved through fertility treatment. a year and a half later i wanted to lose weight. I got Micheal Thurmonds program and in 8 weeks I lost 35 pounds. Two months later i found out i was pregnant and it would not have happened without Micheal's program. By the way I tried to follow the program but slacked off on the exercises and focused on the foods and still had results. EVeryone thought i was working out all the time. Now 2 years later after nursing school and a new baby i'm fat again and starting Micheal's 6 week body makeover again. Wish me luck! IT WORKS AND I ENDORSE IT 100%

For all of you who believe you were scamed, you need to know that I have met several people who were on this plan and found success. I can not answer the question as to why it did not work for you, but it does come with an 800# to ask questions, maybe you should speak to your doctor and it's crucial you drink water and exercise. Don't give up. Your worth the effort to figure out what's happening with your metabolism. Have your thyroid checked too. This plan does work. You just may need some special care. If not, what ever you try, you need to keep going. Giving up is not going to get rid of the weight. Good Luck.

I am overweight and even though I'm on meds for many things I haven't purchased Michael Thurmond's 6-Week Body Makeover yet. Maybe it's because I don't believe that I will work the plan not whether the plan will work for me. What we all go through is different. If the plan wasn't working for some of you did you send it back and get your money back? I have watched Extreme Makeover with Michael Thurmond as the diet and exercise expert and those people had dramatic results in 8 - 10 weeks. I'm not saying it works that way for everyone and I'm sure all of us would like to go and be with someone LIKE Michael Thurmond (or Michael Thurmond himself) to have them watch our intake and output of energy, but it isn't possible for all of us to do that. I'm going to try this plan and I will stick with it because I'm ready. Were you really ready? Are you so ready that you're trying to avoid bariatric surgery? Instead of bashing this or other weight loss programs, why don't you take a good look inside yourselves.

Hi, Im a 27 year old female and before i did this program i weighed 267 lbs,im only 5"2... I ve come to realize now that any program can work if you have the will power and the determination to make it work, i have been on every diet in gods creation and nothing worked, the reason nothing worked is because i just wasnt ready for it to work, i had no motivation. I decided to try the six week makeover after seeing yet another infomertial, and now weighing in at 132lbs ( after a little over a year of some hard work) this is the best program that has come into my life. There is so much detail, it tells you EXACTLY what u need to do, it also has a 24 hour support that comes with the program which is a great help when u feel like wanting to CHEAT... dont..... and never give up, the ones who FAIL are the ones who quit trying.. Is there anyone that has one of these diet programs that didn't like it and would like to sell it? I really would like to try this, but can't afford to buy it at full price. I am a typical yo yo dieter, I lose it, then gain it back. I'm at the "gained it back" phase and really need to do something. Thanks

I did the six week body make over and in those six weeks I lost 30 lbs. I was not hungry and the only part of the diet I had a problem with is eating so many times a day, but it did work.

Maybe you should give it another chance use the rapid results and see what you get. Doing the rapid I lost 7 lbs the first week.

Sorry any for your non-loss but I wish you well with your weight loss.

I am 4 weeks into the plan and have lost 20 lbs. already! That is with many days of cheating and no working out! I plan to start working out and look forward to sculpting my body into the shape I want it! I have every confidence that it will work! If you follow the plan you WILL lose weight. It seems to me that you are not eating the way that you should. I must admit that it was hard to cut out the salt and other things that I so enjoy in my food, but if you want to lose weight these things must be done. The 6 week body makeover is not a scam!

I bought this plan, and a friend and I are doing it together! She has lost 12 lbs in the first week, and I've lost 8.. I work nights, and it's a little harder for me to stay on track with the eating schedule, but it's getting easier.. I know this will work since we haven't done any kind of working out, and have lost this weight.. all we've done is eat, and go through our normal daily routine!! The only problem I've had is I'm not always hungry when it's time to eat.. 2 oz of protein and 1/2 cup of carbs is a LOT when you just ate 3 hours ago.. but it seems to be working!

I purchased this because I did not want to eat space shuttle food or anything that did not seem like real food. I wanted something more realistic. Because most people eat much more than an actual serving this plan shows you what an appropriate amount to eat looks like. It takes will power in the beginning and you have to get used to it but if you stick to it you will lose. I like lots of fruits and vegatables and all the other things I could have on this plan so it was not hard for me. Also I do not see how this plan could be harmful in any way and that is always a concern when trying to lose weight. There are pills, soup diets, no carb/low carb - I found all those things to be a hoax because when you go back to eating normally you gain all the weight back.
