I think the 6 week body make over is EXCELLENT!! I was very skeptical at first. In two weeks I have lost 10lbs and the best part is I am NEVER hungry. I used to do Weight Watchers and was always starving. For all those who think it's a scam, you were'nt giving it an honest chance.

I bought it and in two weeks I lost 20 lbs so I KNOW it works BUTTTTT, The diet is so miserable I couldn't keep going. The first week I lost about 15lbs and was TOTALLY psyched and ready to keep going but in the second week I lost 5 lbs and I know 5lbs is a LOT to lose in a week but, after losing 15 in the first week that was nothing and the diet was so miserable I just couldn't take it anymore by the end of the second week. It was long ago that I bought it and I don't have the kit anymore as it got lost in the shuffle of moving but, I'm going to try to do a "revised but similar" version of his diet. It was the closest thing to success I ever had! His diet is so strict and regime that I don't believe it to be possible to fail unless you either cheat or give up like I did the first time. I am a large person and it worked for me, WHEN I was doing it. I followed it to the T.

My husband and I did the 6 week body makeover hen it first came out. At the time I was working 3rd shift at Walmart. So eating every 3 hours was difficult to do but, I managed to do it. I'm what my family and co workers would call a chocoholic cause I had it everynight at work. So that was hrd for me to break but, I did it. At the end of 6 weeks My husband lost 41lbs. I lost 21lbs. I have a slow Thyroid problem and I still lost. We plan on doing it again. I'm hoping to o better this time. So if I can do it anyone can. Just answer the questions truthfully to find your body shape. Then after the 6 week body makeover follow up with the eating for Life book by Bill Phillis. Great recipes in there. You can find it on ****. You can also loose weight with that book. You can use generic products if your store don't carry that brand but, it shows you a picture of the product so you get a general idea of what to look for. Good luck!!!!!!

So far, I've lost inches, guaging by my clothes' fit. But most importantly, my stamina has greatly increased. being an insulin dependent diabetic, I simply can't dial down my insulin doses fast enough. The eating program got rid of insulin resistance, especially after meals. And I love the espanded fruits category compared with fruits being counted as simple carbs.
It's a WONDERFUL program. 8)

I am probably going to sound like a scripted actor, but, I have used this program and it really did work for me. Any weight loss program that was out there, I've tried it...the same for diet pills. This was the only program that truly worked. I mean, they even tell you that if you have a craving, to not deny yourself; satisfy the craving (within reason) and get back on the program. I lost 30 lbs in two months AND with no exercise. It was a bit fast for me, but I followed the program by the book. The weight really feel like it was just falling off. I couldn't explain it even if I tried. I talked to a ton of people on the MTBO message boards and through IMs for support. I got recipes, tips and tricks for longer-lasting results. Whenever I reached a plateau, I started with the "quick-start" to get that kick I needed. The ONLY problem I ran into on this program was that it got majorly expensive and I therefore had to give it up for a while. This was because you have to cook EVERYTHING (which means larger grocery bills). You aren't supposed to be consuming anything that's prepackaged. So that throws convenience right out the window. You also have to be the kind of person that has time to cook your all your meals at least one week in advance. Now, I'm ready to begin again and this is what I am going to use. So for those of you who have just purchased the program, try it. If it doesn't work, then it's not the program for you (or your cheated grossly).

I am reading over the information here on this link and I can understand why there are mixed viewpoints. As mentioned, not every body is the same. That is why some people work on the certain "diets" and others do not. There are so many factors to look at, really too many to mention. How I used the 6 week body make-over to my benefit, was by including his findings and advice into my long research of how to recreate my body and lifestyle. I looked at what did and did not work in most diets and why. Then I applied the principles from his diet, the South Beach, the blood type, and my own dietary restrictions and I lost the weight fast.
I started the experiment on January 19, 2007 at the weight of 169lbs and 5'6" tall. I went to my next medical check-up the first week of February and I weighed in at 148 lbs! I was in awe!! No kidding, my doctor started questioning my sudden weight loss (4 years the weight had climbed up). I noticed the clothes fit looser and so forth, but the best thing? I felt great. I am finally down to 130 lbs now and still falling. My goal is 125lbs. I know it will happen when I finally exercise. Yes, I have not exercised more than walking and working in a restaurant 3 nights a week and an occasional yoga class on the weekends.

For everyone that is seemingly proposing that this is a scam.... If you receive something that gives you an indepth look on proper portions and healthy choices for food, then in no way, would this be a scam.
To make such a judgement, although stereotypical, you have probably had your share of junk food while trying the program. Unless what we have been told for centuries, about proper eating habits, portioning etc. is completely fabricated, then this nonsense is nothing but those who do not have any motivation, or drive. And, therefore feel that they should be able to have some sort of healthy living program that allows them to eat whatever they feel.

I TOTALLY disagree, money spent on the plan was TOTALLY worth it. I lost 40 lbs originally. I had to have radiation and was taken off my throid medicine. Consequently, I gained 20 back. But on the plan, I have lost that weight and another 5lbs (in about 5 wks.) I champion this product 100%! If you don't like it send it back, get your money back. But I only ate what was on the plan and drank my water. I never worked out for even 10 mins. If given the choice, I would pay the money again for the program!

It's not a scam just because it didn't wor for YOU. I understand that you might feel frustrated because it didn't work for you.
I have dieted all my life and this is the only thing that worked for me. I lost 35 pounds and have kept it off. I still have some to lose. Although I have not continued the program I have kept the weight off. I don't look as thin becuse my body composition changed due to the lack of exercise i have had. Now I have more fat than muscle but still weigh the same.
Maybe cutting too many carbs doesn't work for you. I think you should re-analize and take the test over. It's possible that you fall into another body type.

I have lost 30lbs since august the first. If you are not loosing weight you have to be cheating, or using too much salt. I honestly don't understand how you cannot loose weight. I lost 15lbs in one week. You have to do EXACTLY WHAT IT tells you to do. You can't do anything to make it easier on you , or less bland. If you really want to loose weight, and are FAT (like me) you have to learn that, just because you like the taste of something, don't mean you should eat it. Food is just to stay alive, don't put too much emphasis on it, to make you happy! :D

You people are confusing me! I just ordered the program a week ago but it doesn't get here until 3-4 weeks, thats a long time!! I'm really excited, I can't wait to try it. I am 5'4 and i weigh 240lbs which is ALOTTTTT for being only 18 years old. For the time being I am just eatting healthy and walking ALOT and i could use all the motivation!!!
