I had a thermachoice balloon ablation 3 years ago...
I still had a normal period (what I would have had when I was younger) for 7 months then I started just spotting about every 28 days
is their a chance that I could still carry apregnancy to term and what tests should my Dr. preform to see if it is possible?

You should NEVER try to get pregnant after having a Thermachoice Ablation! It is too risky for mom and baby after this procedure to become pregnant. All the literature states that if you are planning on having more children you should NOT have the Thermachoice Ablation done. There is a chance you can become pregnant but you should NOT attempt it as it is dangerous.
I had the Thermachoice procedure on 9/10/10. I am eleven days post-op and I am surprised at the amount of cramping I am still having. I researched the procedure thoroughly but I did not research the recovery. I believe that knowing what the recovery time will be should be included in the decision making process. I feel pregnant because of the hardness and bloating of my stomach. The cramping comes and goes. I am on my 2nd prescription of Vicoibuprofen. It helps with the pain I just cannot stand the drowsiness. The discharge has eased up. Now and again a little thick discharge comes out but no blood.
Can anyone tell me how long I can expect to experience cramping?

I have thermachoice ablation in 2007 after the doctor diagnosing me with adenomyosis. The ablation did stop the heavy bleeding and now I have a regular cycle but the only cure for adenomyosis is hysterectomy from what I have read. I have begun clotting again and having pains. Research Adenomyosis and I think you will probably find that you have some of the other symptoms: bloating, diarhea/constipation, etc.
Best wishes!
