I haven't had sex in three weeks. September 31st to be exact when I moved away from my boyfriend.
I am on the pill and I am suppose to start my period in 4 or 5 days. But for the past couple of days I have had cramps and very very slight spotting. Then this morning I wiped and a THICK brown mucus came out along with a little bit of blood.
I've read about implantation spotting or whatever, but I just want to know if this is normal because I dont want to go out and spend money on a pregnancy test.

its perfectly normal i get it every time just before i start my actual period and my period has been like that since i started for the first time which was 12. your not pregnant or anything its a completely normal thing to happen before you start your period.
