For the past I'd say 6 months or so now, I have had this pain in the left side of my throat that i feel to the left of my adams apple and sometimes up to the very back of my mouth.

I have had strep and stuff, but the pain is fairly consistent and is worsening. I have smoked marijuana quite regularly throughout this whole time and am not doubting that it is the cause/hasn't helped it at all.. but I am now taking a long break from it and now today is day 4 without it and it is feeling the worst it has ever felt.

When i breathe in sharply or cough, i have this very deep ache in my throat to the left and a little below my adams apple. It also hurts to swallow and when I wake up in the morning my entire throat is usually sore.

Should i be worried? I have already had xray and ultrasound done on my throat but am debating on going to a otorhinolaryngologist soon to get it more thoroughly examined.
