Has anyone had a thyroidectomy for hashimoto disease
No, but I'd sure love to if it would have a chance in h-3-l-l of working! I'm sick to freaking death of dealing with Hashi's.
I've read someplace that they've had good success with thyroidectomy for Hashi's, and other places that in some people they are still symptomatic as thyroid cells still remain and can continue to cause the autoimune symptoms.
AUGH!
