im too afraid to go to the doctors for fear it's warts or herpes. from what ive read tho the bumps from herpes or warts get bigger, and are sore ( mine are only sore after ive rubbed my vagina lips together so ease the itch, causing a lot of pain and inflammation to my vagina lips) they also tend to scab or look like a kanker sore, and never get bigger, or smaller, and never open or puss. they remain outside of the vagina but on the inside of the lip. its also only one bump.
does anyone else have or had this problem?
what's my best bet?
or do you have any other information to calm me down to go to the doctors?
I think you should try something for a yeast infection. IF that doesnt work you should see a doctor.

You're afraid its warts or herpes? If it is, then nothing is going to change that. However, your doctor can put you on medicine to treat herpes or get the warts removed and make sure the warts aren't spreading.

It's best to know, you should really go to a doctor and have he or she check it out. Herpes can start out as a small bump and then eventually grow, especially for the first outbreak. My first outbreak took three weeks for it to get bad enough for me to finally schedule a doctor's appointment. I thought it was just a little tear or something of the sort.

But to ease the itch, keep your vagina as dry as possible! Use baby powder and wear loose shorts. Try to avoid putting cream on the sore, it'll eventually agitate the itch even if it seems to offer temporary relief. Setting a blow dryer on cool also helps.

Hi, i was wondering if you got to the bottom of your problem?? I have the exact same problem as you!!!
I have been to the doctors twice, first off they gave me some swabs (which came back negative for any type of infection including sexual!) and she gave me a tablet to take which was similar to a thrush tablet. This worked and relived me straight away!! 2 weeks later it was back, so i went straight to the doctors again! This time she gave me the same tablet again and some tablets for BV. I have taken all of these and 1 week later its back AGAIN! : (
This is so frustrating!! Even my doctor cant get to the bottom of it, so i was wondering if you have solved the problem yet? If so, what was it, what did you take and is there anything else i can do???

Looking forward to your reply!!
Thanks xx

I had this problem too! It got so bad that I couldn't stand the itching and went to the ER. The doctors made me feel so stupid, like I had an STD or something. But it wasn't. They just treated it like a yeast even though it wasn't and the yeast creams made the itching way worse. It was like I was having an allergic reaction to the creams. Then, one time I got put on an antibiotic and the itching returned. Come to find out it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. Now, here I am 10 years later and I am having the problem again and racking by brain to figure out what I ate or did that could be causing the allergic reaction again. So frustrating! I havent changed soaps or anything. I had been sick and on antibiotics, but that was over a week ago. I know that it is not a yeast infection becuase I can tell. I don't dare try using a cream and risk making it feel worse. I am trying baby powder and hoping that it helps absorb some of the wetness and then it will go away. I have had a lot of discharge so I think that the wetness is a problem and that maybe the acid level is high. I am also trying a probiotic and eating yogurt, but it still is not going away... Anyone else found a magical cure? In the past it just seems I would stick it out after everything made it worse and then it would finally go way. Like I said, it has been 10 years since I last had the problem, so i don't know why im having it now.

I think you should know and understand that with Yeast Infection-yeast is known as a fungis. Antibiotic have fungis in it. If you have yeast infection, you have to stay away from anything that has yeast. Keep the girls down there, dry and clean. Meaning everytime you use the bathroom to pee or poo WASH YOURSELF! Soap. Warm water. Towel.

Now, keeping this up is hard but its for your health. You don't want to go long without getting it treated from a doctor. Ladies, understand that if you do not take care of your vagina, example having a yeast infectional: you are causing yourself to be less and less more likely to have kids in the future.

I've had yeast infection once, but then now I keep getting somethin similar like yeast infection every month. Now, I've gone to the doctors and got treated. No home base treatment work. Over the counter meds screw you. Now, my best chances now since I'm getting a month by month feeling of the itchness and red tiny bumps around the Valvul (the hole) and then the swelling. If you can't feel anything once you have stick your finger in your vagina hole then you know something is up. My best best is Chlamydia- a sexual transmitted disease that can be treated once you go to a gynecologist.

Girl, please, once you start having sex, go to a gynecologist! Don't be scared, I know its scary but they are there for a reason!
