Hey, I think this is the right place to post this message so here it is. I can run a 4-5 mile run easily no problem at a good pace. But whenever i go to do a shorter 2-3 mile speed run my arms get tired waaaaaayyy before my legs do, forcing meto slow and rest my arms. Is there an excercise I can do to help this? Or is it that I'm not drinking enough?

Are you aware if your arm positioning and motions are any different between the long and short runs? (this would exclude the tendency to pump the faster in the shorter ones)
Are you relaxing your shoulders n arms while running? I suggest some core exercises maybe too.
