Hi, I have a 19 months old son and about 5 or 6 months ago after he had received his chicken pox vaccine he developed blisters. I took him to the pedia. and they told me that it was just a reaction to the vaccine and he had gotten a mild case of the chicken pox. Well a couple days ago he broke out with blister on his shoulder, legs, back, and scalp. I took him back to the pedia. and they told me that he had gotten chicken pox again! He hasnt had a fever, loss of appitite, or loss of energy. I am confused because I didnt think that children could get chicken pox twice. And not only that he has been in daycare for over a year and none of the children there have gotten chicken pox. I am not sure if the blisters may be caused from something else like allergies? Please help!!
