I am 17 and i got a tonsillectomy on December 1. It’s been a few days since and the pain wasn’t unbearable for the first few days. Now it’s excusing pain to even swallow. I drink water 24/7 and can only eat things like applesauce and mashed potatoes. Around where my scabs are is extreme redness. It’s super sore and if i move my tongue too much it hurts. It makes even talking a little bit a struggle. Is the redness normal?
