Hi,
I think you are just going through a phase. This reminds me of me as well; moreover i believe that all people go through this phase sometime in their life. You have to be careful about two things that can sneak up on you.
One is procrastination. It's when you are willing to do anything else except the important things, like studying. It's the time when , instead of studying, you clean your room or help your parents or basically any other stuff that you would usually hate to do (maybe you do this stuff anyways, but you get my point). So, make sure you focus on your task and your task alone, nothing else.
Second one is laziness. Yes, laziness. We all take this word for granted. Laziness is not when you just do nothing; it's when you know what you need to do but you still refuse it. That's the tricky part, laziness will trigger some other disgusting feelings like low self-esteem and self-pity.
You need to combat these two states. You can do so by setting priorities in your life. Many of us believe that we have set our priorities straight but you'd be surprised what some people have as their top priorities. Some people do have self-pity, laziness on their top without even knowing it. So to beat this you need to set a list of priorities. The best thing to do is to write it down and read it every now and then. Here is an example of such list:
- Health
- Family
- School
- School
- Hard work
- Consistency
So, besides this list you need to remember one big rule of thumb that all successful people apply to their life and that is. Persistence,Persistence,Persistence . You have to be persistent at what you do. Set a goal to your self like "i will study every day for at least 5 minutes", and make sure you fulfill this obligation. You will start feeling better about your self which will make you work harder and better. Then, in time, you set those goals higher and higher and trust me, there is no limit on this. You can do and become whatever you desire only if you are persistent.
Good luck and hope this helps.
