I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago today, he ejaculated inside me. I took the morning after pill 54 hours later. Even though I am not due on for another 6 day's I am worried I may be pregnant, I am very VERY fertile and we had sex right in the middle of my cycle. Since then my breasts have been very very sore and I keep needing the toilet, above all else I feel pregnant. Im getting so nervous, I took a test yesterday ( 7 days before I was due) but it came out negative - could I still be pregnant? this is killing me.. I really need know :0(
Any advice or help would be muchly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Pipxie.

I'm sorry it's killing you, but nature isn't in a hurry.
You took the morning after pill rather late (if it was Plan B it is claimed effective for three days, most effective on day one, and is deemed to prevent 7 out of 8 pregnancies - that's still a lot of pregnant women), so yes, you could well be pregnant.
When will you know: when the test works: check its specification: typically it's around the first missed period. In a weeks tims, check the test, but it should probably be accurate. Ultimately it is only a measure of hormone build-up. Whether two cells have made out or not is down to luck and nature.
When you get your period (or miscarriage - one in five pregnancies end in miscarriage, some doctors believe, never even noticed by the women), or when the test is positive, you will know. In the meantime, you may not like it, but you were designed by nature to do this, so check out your options: start doing your research, on termination, or keeping the baby, or both.
You've got time to kill: keeping your mind active will make the wait a little more bearable, perhaps.
