Hello Everyone,
So this is will be my second pregnancy. I now have a son that is almost 2 years old. I just got my Implanon removed today October 09,2013 @ 1:30pm. After having my son i was extremely excited to get on birth control i found out about the implanon and found it interesting a rod in your arm for 3 years. All you have to do is check and make sure it is still there?? SOUNDS better than taking pills to me!!!! Once i got the implanon i started getting these crazy heavy period that would last for weeks at a time; sometime i would have my period almost all 3 weeks in one month. Finally the bleeding got too heavy and it was not my regular period. I've had extreme back pain and my depression that i have been diagnosed with is also triggered by a side effect of the implanon which sucks!!!
My boyfriend and I have been talking for a while about having BABY # 2 (:
Seeing I just got the implanon removed. How long should i wait to try and concieve. I've read a few things online about the hormones are removed from your body WITHIN 6 HOURS???
My OBGYN said as soon as the birth controls out it is out.. but my boyfriend kind of choked when he was trying to ask "WHEN CAN I GET HER PREGNANT??!!" So i told him i will do as much research as i can to get our baby # 2 to be on his or her way (:
