Hi All!

I got the Implanon in 2009 and then had it removed in 2012 and had a new one placed in. My period's were really bad with the implanon in. I would bleed every 2nd week. I had mine removed today 7/10/13 and am currently on my period. Me and my partner are trying to concieve. I'm hoping it won't take so long.

Good luck to all those who are trying and keep me and my partner in your prayers

Hello, so i'm very glad to see that many woman are having similar problems. i had the implanon in for 14 months .. so just a little over a year. I just had it removed today because it was causing me to have irregular bleeding (that was not my period) ; i had the problem with irregular periods ever since i had it inserted into my arm. Before having the implanon put in i did have a handsome baby boy who is now almost 2 years old.. I feel the implanon not only messed with my menstrual cycle but also my depression as well. Seeing i was diagnosed with depression years prior......BUT!!!!

MY BOYFRIEND AND I WANT ANOTHER BABY!!!!!!!!!! :-)<3:-|<3:-);-)<3<3<3Seeing i just got it removed today(10/08/2013) should i wait until i get my period or should i start trying.. ive read up on a few things saying the hormones leave your body within 6 hours of being removed but does that make me able to conceive sooner the soon i have sex . I checked up on an ovulation website. i entered the first date of my last menstrual cycle and it said i will be able to conceive from october 18th-23 of this month... need advice now pleaaaase!!!!

When should i start trying for baby number 2????? (: Thanks everyone much Love, Alyssa <3

I see this was posted quite some time ago but im hoping this will be seen. Im inquiring info about infertility after implanon removal. My niece is the women being affected. She has a four year old that was conceived with no problem and then she chose to do the implanon for birth control afterwards. She has had it removed for almoat a year now with no success of conception. Her current periods were and still are irregular. She just recently had two periods that lasted only a few days (light flow), 28 days apart. She has been using the rhythm method since those two periods to try and track her ovulation. She is severely frustrated. I feel so bad fornher and that is why I started some research. She has seen her ob/gyn which tells her it is common to have such a hormone balancing act after the use of this product but really?! If u r willing can I have more infonabout ur lawnsuit u have started? Thanks jenl

Hows it going with the trying to concieve? Have you become pregnant? I too have not been able to concieve after 3 years now. My husband I started trying as soon as I removed the implanon and going on 3 and half years now nothing!! My OBGYN has now sent me to a specialist, for "there's nothing more" he could do, and didn't understand why I wasn't pregnant yet. I have been on Clomiphene for 6 months now, but going to have to stop now to give my body a rest from the hormones. I'm so frustrated and confussed. I have 2 children that are now 20 and 18 years old, I know I'm older now (39), but I know I can have children.

Hi I'm going through the exact same thing. Had mines removed Jul 20 2017, 1st cycle for only 3 days after 3 weeks and the next one was super heavy. No luck with pregnancy and I'm super fertile, but I haven't gotten pregnant. Scared, sad, and hopefully at the same time.

It is now 6 months since my implant removal and I still can't conceive. What could be the reason? I need to get pregnant because I have been having unprotected sex ever since.
