This is happening right now, I tried googling it but I couldn't find anything explaining it.

Im laying in bed trying to sleep, I already have a hard time sleeping. When I open my eyes things slowly over 5-10 mins start to appear further away. I then start to hear loud noises in my head like yelling, or crashing. I've experienced this many times in the past, mostly when I was a child and with fever.

I'm currently recovering from a head cold, nothing too crazy. The short of it though, my blinking feels heavy and I feel things all over my body feeling heavy, loud noises in my head and things seem really far away. Since sitting up and grabbing my phone, my sight got better and noises are going away. I feel though when I try to sleep again it may start again.

Is this normal?? What causes it? Or am I just going crazy?

thank you

I am experiencing terrible wind like noises in my head when I go to bed, which prevents me from sleeping. They seem to go away during the day when I am awake. What does it mean?
