Ok... so I'm a healthy 26 year old with 2 children.. I had a tt with mussel reconstructing from child baring 8 june 5th... I still have my drains in. However, I have a slight feaver and feel no energy today. I go back to the doctor this wed the 18... I called her a few min ago and she said she is not worried. But for me to come in tomorrow... If I feel the need to go to the er I should go... I mean I spent 9,700 on surgery and I feel bad for calling her... do u think I should worry??? Please any information will help.... Thanks, CRW....

Hey cherie, Although no 2 cases are the same, in general the healing time for muscle repair with abdominoplasty is the same as for a hernia repair which is 6 weeks for unrestricted physical activity. Recovery is affected by a your overall level of fitness. Also since you had muscle repair its gonna take longer to recover. Sometimes level of physical readiness also influences recovery time. Having this in mind, you shouldn't worry too much, but still if you sense something is wrong definitely consult your physician.
