Hello,

I've been putting off getting myself checked out for a long time regarding a tumor type growth on my left testicle. I believe I first found this when I was 16 or 17, and I'm now 22. The growth has the texture of a mini brain, with lumps and bumps, almost like veins. It is not often visible or easy to feel, but it shows up most after a shower/bath, when you can clearly see that the growth is almost the same size as the testicle itself. 3 years ago I went to a doctor and asked him to check while I was getting a checkup for something else. He felt and said that he could find nothing; at the time the growth was not visible, and couldn't be felt by touch. I explained that it appeared most after a warm shower and he said it may be a vein clump, and did not seem concerned. I'm now getting concerned, after searching about testicular tumors and seeing the word 'cancer' so often. I plan on visiting the doctor within the next week or two, now that I've accepted the possible seriousness of the problem, and was looking for an opinion about what I should expect. Does this sound like it may be a cancerous tumor, or simply a vein cluster as my doctor had said?

I would really appreciate any input.

Thank you,
Adam
Any insight would be appreciated, please.

I have the same problem mate. Im 17 and have the same thing especially right after a shower. They are various lumps that feel brainy and my doctor said when I got a check up last year that they are just small clots and if they get worse then I will have them unblocked but they arent painful or anything but i am still worried. What has your doctor said.

Since posting this message (that was 2 years ago) I saw a physician and got an opinion. He explained the same thing you described after giving me a physical. I forget the name of it- I really should have remembered. But not to worry, it is harmless unless it grows or becomes painful.

Well this is amazing. Always wondered what that was but never got it checked. These responses explain my situation flawlessly. Good to hear there's nothing wrong with me
