I took 2 pregnancy tests at the beginning of the week, both came up with a positive result. Yesterday, I woke up to some light, brownish spotting. I went to the doctor who gave me a urine test that was negative. She drew blood to check levels. Now, I've been awake for hours with the worst cramps and a slightly heavier bleeding. So confused. I read about "chemical pregnancies" nd wondered if this could have happened to me? Any suggestions? I can't stand the wait!

False positive results are very rare. When you checked, were they very clear or faint?
There is also the chance you are having a miscarriage. They are more common than most women realize.
Wait for the blood test results.
