Hi,
I am 18 years old male and recently (the last two weeks or so) have been having random uncontrolled jolts, this has happened only 10 to 15 times in the past 2 weeks. Basically its just one jolt over my entire body, it last about a second, usually when i am using the computer - it has happened other times though and has seemed to have increased in occurrence within the last week. It is bothering me a lot now because I also have jaw pain (started about 4 days ago) just bellow my left ear when i try opening my jaw, it hurts the most when i attempt to open it wider. I am wondering if this could be symptoms of tetanus? I did cut myself on metal in the last month, it wasn't anything major, but I am past due on all my vaccines... So I am just wondering what this could be? Are these symptoms even related? Should I see a doctor immediately?
Also I would like to add I am slightly a hypochondriac, so the jolt thing may not be more then a rough twitch, but i never felt like that before, and the jaw pain is very, very noticeable.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
