I don't know if they are related. However, everytime I eat I spend the next two hours with constant belching, flatulance, and a very upset stomach... regardless of the menu. About once a month I nearly pass out. This has happened walking, driving, watching TV... everything will be fine and then suddenly BAM... as if someone has hit me right in the base of the back of my skull... I pass out! It only lasts about 3 or 4 seconds, but afterwards feels like I received a strong, numbing electric shock and I am slightly disoriented. Additionally, my memory - short term - is not working so good. I have been tested with an ekg, artirial scope, and barium. Nothing unusual showed up. I am male and 56 years old. I am extremely active for my age and exercise regularly. Any suggestions?
