I have been taking the Yaz birth control pill every night for 2 weeks. I first-day started. On the 5th day, I had unprotected sex and the man pulled out. At one point, as he pulled out, I remember thinking he pre-came a bit on the floor (not sure, I was drunk and don't know if I imagined it). Penetration lasted for about 2 or 3 minutes; most was foreplay. There was no penetration for about 5 or 10 minutes before he actually came.

Could I be pregnant? I am aware that the birth control was not fully active yet, but I have had unprotected sex with pull-out method many times not on birth control and have gotten lucky. Does the birth control, because it is not yet adjusted with my period yet (it cut my period 2 days short), affect my ovulation/fertility dates? Or do I have less of a chance of being pregnant because I was on the birth control?

I am just paranoid as I just found out a friend of mine was not on birth control, used the withdrawal method, and ended up pregnant. Yikes.



Also, I have heard that many people skip or are late on their first period on birth control. Is this true? If so, how late? Thanks.
