I have just been diagnosed with floaters in my eye. There is one which I can see most of the time very unusual, and several which are visible in bright daylight. I am very grateful that the ophthalmologist found no problems with my retinas or other eye structures, but I am concerned that because I have to drive a lot as part of my job. This floater is distracting enough that I'm getting fearful about getting in the car. Are there any suggestions?

I suggest you to remove that floater. Little over one year ago, I experienced
a massive Weiss ring floater in my right eye which was successfully eliminated with no complications via laser treatment. I would recommend to everyone out there
with eye floaters, no matter of which type, to order a copy of this book “Laser Treatment of Eye Floaters" so as to understand what this procedure has to offer and counter any and all nay-sayers who would dismiss such treatment out of hand.
