My doctor is away for a while, so I need to inquire online. I haven't had my period for seven months, but three days ago, I had my period. It only lasted a day. I'm fifteen years old, still a virgin, and I started menstruating when I was twelve. I read that it's normal for the menstrual cycle to be irregular in the first two years, but now it's been over three years since I started, and my periods are almost nonexistent. Anyone know what might be going on? Please help!

You may not be eating enough therfore your body doesn't have enough nutrition to have your period. This happened to me also. Is it possible you show signs of an eating disorder?
