Ok so for the past 4 or so years I have had upper right quadrant pain. It starts as a hardening sensation followed by severe pain then a severe spasm that my husband has been able to see from across the room. This has resulted in literraly thousands of dollars in copays, to Er to my doctor and to a gastroentorologist. I have had CT scans EGD's, Ultrasounds, a stomache emptying study, a Hida scan. My Galbladder was removed in December yet no change in symptoms. I have been diagnosed with Celiac disease and am on a strict Gluten free diet and still no change in symptoms. Every blood test and scan comes back with elevated white cells but as the doctors push it off as not high enough to be concerned about, I get more and more frustrated and more and more doubtful in the abilities of doctors. The ER sends you home with Vicodin and says it will go away. I can't tell you how many scripts for pain pills I have thrown away. I know I can't be the only person in the world dealing with this so I reach out to all of you. ANY ONE please if you have actually gotten an actual diagnosis and have had the same issue please give me an idea of something to throw at these doctors to get this to finally stop!!!
