I have had urinary tract infection symptoms for the past 3 months, but tests are negative. Severe pain right above my pubic bone to the left. Also, I am having difficulty to start urine stream. I usually have to sit there and really try hard to get it started. I have had xrays, cat scan, cystoscope, urine tests (many), have taken many many antibiotics. I am at a loss and I think my doctor is too. Does anybody have any idea what this is? Has anybody has these symptoms?
Yes. for the past 2 years have been having frequent UTI"s and no possible reemedy, just recently I was told I had a UTI and was given very strong antibotics, but no change, and I was just told by the Dr. that she doesn't know what it is. So I am at a loss. I have had all the same porcedures, and tests. I would like to know also, what it is I have and how to cure it.
I see that your post is old so you may no longer be reading this forum. If you are, I suggest you see a urologist and have him test for Interstitial Cystitis. There is a lot known about this condition. There is no known cause or cure at this time, but many beneficial treatments are available.
