Yeast infections can be totally controlled with diet. You won't like it, it's super strict. Starting with absolutely NO SUGAR! no soy, no wheat,...Do some research. See a naturopath for suggestions. I did this diet for 5 weeks last spring and the candida cleared.

I'm going through the same problem as of right now actually and has happened once before when I was younger..irritated/itchy clitoris/vagina..could be a yeast infection usually right after you had sex maybe a day or two before the symptoms appeared.. I experience allergy reactions to condoms though which is pretty weird because they are always the same one or two brands of condoms but I also just experienced a new condom with my boyfriend that came with a vibratiting ring we picked up from Walmart so that could be it too. Usually all you have to do is wash your vaginal area thoroughly with vaginal wash

I have experienced clitoral itching and this all came about after I was hospitalized. Maybe the antibiotics are throwing off my PH?? I am not currently sexually active for over a year so STD is ruled out, thank God!

Perhaps it has to do with the type of toilet paper you use - lots of toxins in toilet paper

My drama started at the end of January. I shaved higher than I usually do (around the clitoral hood and prepuce) with a not so reliable battery opperated razor. For a while, one corner was irritated, itchy and raw, so I shaved again to take care of the problem, but 4 days later, I ended up with a hot, swollen, itchy, sensitive and painful vulva which turned out to be cellulitus. I was given a seven day course of generic Bactrum that took care of the infection.

All other symptoms have gone away EXCEPT for the clitoral hood sensitivity. I can touch it with fingers and underwear without a problem, but pubic hair, towels, and thin gauze make me want to drop to the floor and curl up in a ball. Pubic hair gives the feeling of pressing a hair brush into my skin, but I don't want to shave it off and potentially get another infection. Warm water is the enemy, as it causes uncontrollable itching and tingling for a good 5 - 10 minutes post shower. I still have random, peroidic itchiness around the prepuce, and twinges that affect the clitoris. All I can do right now is cover the area with loads of lotion to avoid chapping and cracking of the skin, and gauze for protection.

STD tests have come back clear, no unusual odor or discharge to speak of, no changes to the amount, color, or quality of urine. No pain or other issues to speak of. I have no idea what could be causing the oversensitivity and it's depressing :-(. It is getting better little by little, but I still feel sad and confused.

Hi guys! I wanted to let you know that I have the same problem. It IS yeast infection. But It's because you also have Candida. Stomach Yeast. So you can take a Diflucan. Also give one to your partner.(guys can't have yeast but they can carry the yeast if you contaminate them). Use the vaginal Boric Acid from compound Pharmacy. And a lot of Probiotic to treat the Candida. You will be fine

I love your idea, tea tree oil... it is an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. I had MRSA three times, twice treated by the MD but since it had returned, I lanced it and, with a small hypodermic type , pushed the opening full of Tea Tree Oil. My doctor thought I was wacky till I showed her the info I printed from a web site. She still thinks I am wacky, I also told her of the issue I have "down under" but she blew me off. Now it seems I have lost my clitoral hood and member.... needless to say, I am quite upset. I have not had sex in 8 years, tho being married for 13, you can read between the lines... I am going to give the oil a go this evening...

Hello Divas,
I myself suffered from the clit itching, and frequent yeast infections, the reason being is because I swim religiously, if any of you are frequent swimmers the chlorine aids yeast infections as well....So my grandmother said to take two cups of apple cider vinegar add this to your warm bath or as hot as you can tolerate your bath water, and sit in the tub for about 15-30 min....Ladies the acid from the Apple cider vinegar will neutralize any fungal growth while maintaining ph levels....I do this about three times a week or as needed...I must say I haven't had any yeast infections since....Also for a natural home remedy for the itching yogurt helps. Also the Apple cider vinegar is Awesome for muscle aches, and helps to detoxify your body......

Hope. This will help you as it helped me :-)
