Vaginal Swelling. No pain, no redness, no itch, no discharge, no smell.

I have recently been diagnosed with UTI/bladder infection and have been on medication including antibiotics for about 3 days now. 

After diagnosis and taking the medication, I notice that my labia, vulva and some inner parts of the vagina are swollen. There is no redness, no irritation, no discharge or foul smell, nothing. 

What could it possibly be, and should I be worried?  (I have consulted my doctor who is male and is not specialised in this area, he doesn't seen to know what the cause is.)
