my husband has a varicocele in his right testicle. We have been trying to get pregnant for the last year and a half and nothing has happened. I am lead to believe this is the cause for that. If he gets surgery, how long will it be before we can start trying and what is the success rate? please, please, please answer this question. i really need answers. It's tearing me apart that i can't get pregnant. Thank you.

Its how many years back since ur post. Did ur husband take the surgery? How its going? My DH also has vericocele, the doc gave him vitamins and after 8 months waiting thank God i got pregnant the same month he started to consume the vitamins.
The problem now he started to feel pain down there (he didnt have complain before) and thinking to get operation.
I have read alot of post saying that they still have pain or get worse after d surgery. From all d post only 2 ppl saying that they got positive result.
