Hello there, I am a guy who is 25 years old. My aunt has been diagnosed with vertebral hemangioma. Because of this fact I would like to know everything about this condition. I would like to get an answer as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for every response you will give me. Sorry to waste your time.
I will do my best to help you out. This is actually benign vascular tumor. I presume that you already know that. In some cases, surgery isn't required. But sometimes, these lesions may bleed. If this happens, vertebral hemangioma may compress surrounding structures and in that case, a surgery called decompression surgery should be considered as an option.
I was told that I need surgery, because of vertebral hemangioma in L2 and L3. First of all, where can I find the best surgeon for this in Houston or San Francisco, and is it dangerous?
