I just googled something similar. Please forgive me if this is mentioned somewhere else but there are a ton of replies and I don't have time to read them all. I just read this link and it calmed a lot of my fears and gave me some practical stuff to work on . I remember doing similar exercises shown here, plus some ankle strengthening moves every other day for a week and noticed a huge difference so I am going to start doing that again. Here is the link. My stomach is always distended, and has been for many years. The flesh is tight, not flabby. As previously mentioned by other writers, I look six months pregnant at sixty! I am a very controlled type one diabetic of fifty years, and see a gastroenterologist, but he is of little help with this. My diet is not to blame, this diagnosis being the easy option for many doctors.
There appear to be many of us with this problem, so it is disturbing to be unable to find some way of dealing with it. I am grateful to know I am not alone, but completely bored of "covering" my gut.

I am a man and have the same issue. I just accept it as normal. Most likely hormonal maybe higher levels of Estrogen that cause stomach bloat or a Gluten sensitivity.
