I am 35 and I have had my uterus taking out so I know I'm not pregnant. I just recently found these dark veins on my breast and I have been going crazy trying to find out why. I have read every site about it and I think I might have figured out why this has happened to me. I decided to post my finding here in hopes that other people get an idea as to why its happening to them. There is one main thing that has changed in my life in the last month since I found the un-sightly veins...I have just started taking a medicine called Doxepin which is suppose to help me with my depression and sleep. Now there are a good few things that relate to why I'm getting these veins, but one of the side affects of Doxepin says that it can cause unexpected or excess milk flow from breasts. I have noticed that most women who are about to breast feed get these same veins... I'm no doctor but I am going to take the side affects of this new medicine to a female doctor in hopes they can direct me further. i have the same problem as all of the people who said stuff i have vein from my wrist arms across my chest that circles around my nipple except one difference i am almost 13 and never had my period does this mean i might have it soon it might not because i had theese vein for months maby even yrs.
I'm 22. And iv had darker veins on my chest all my life. Usually it gets worse if I'm about to start my period. Lately iv noticed my veins are darker in my chest than normal, I'm about to have my period and iv also been consuming a lot more caffeine than normal due to having to stay up to study. I'm also anemic, I'm not sure if that could be the cause since iv had them since childhood.

I have the same problem and when to me Dr and she told me it was normal am like how is that normal and she said its because of my prioed and the blue vines never go away the stay there on my chest on arms I don't know what to do
Your doctor is correct. Some people have vines that are more visible than others and they are normal for those people.
I know this was a year ago! But the same thing is happening to me at the moment, when i do a arm workout or use my arms to lift something, my left one will tighten up and swell a little bit! and hands are shakey! and dark veins like yours.

I am also experiencing this. I am also 14 years of age and an athlete. I was getting changed when i realized these bright blue veins on my chest, any ideas?
What??? lol, are you a nurse? my best friend is, and sometimes she forgets I don't know abbreviations or any of that.. so what happened? were you pregnant? I have blue vein arms and breasts, found this thread
