Hey everyone here's some background info first:


I have a disk slightly out of place on my lower back and it caused me severe pain in the past. I am now at the point where I can work out more without being in too much pain. The thing is I'm looking for some exercises to cut down on the fat I have on my midsection. Its gotten pretty bad I just want to tighten up in that area and maybe one day months from now get some abs. The thing is my back can hurt after awhile so I have to be careful when I work out.

I have a small weight/barbell but I don't have anything else. I usually walk/jog the track near me when possible. I'm looking for anything I can do that won't cause me pain in my back so quickly. If you could link some videos or describe in detail things I can do. Maybe even suggest some stretches for my lower back before I work out. Because it can get quite painful to the point I don't want to move.

Well I would seriously advise at starting yoga where you can be advised about suitable exercises for your back. My mum has had great results from it in solving her lower back problems. After that you will have more freedom from pain to workout and lose your fat
