Ok i have never done this before so here I go....I had a tubal ligation 8 years ago. Then life led me in a new direction and i want kids with m new husband. We have been together 6 yrs now and in those six years i have had 6 miscaariages. No doctor around my area do reversal and it is really expensive and our insurance doesn't cover it. My friend had 1 miscarriage went to the er and they reversed hers that next morning????? I could use some suggestions on what to tell my doctor so he will reverse this cause emotionally i am drained with having the miscarriages and not to mention the havoc it reeks on my body... We would love a baby and the reversal is 6200.00 in our state. I don't know what to do anymore. Even suggestions on some places that might finance us. I really want this reversed for my body and mind's sake are there programs to help me or doctors that can help......we r willing to travel if need be just want this changed!!!!

I have also had my tubes tied and suffered only through 1 miscarriage. With all my research I found there is a "disorder" that is called PTLS post tubal ligation syndrome insurances will pay for a reversal if you have enough of the symptoms. Although a lot of doctors and hospitals don't recognize this as an actual medical disorder. Do some research for your area, usually hospital websites will list disorders or "syndromes" and their take on them. Start talking to your OB about this PTLS, they might be one of the very few doctors that actually address this. Good luck!
