I made this post in 2007, and it’s 2019 now! For some reason this website says everything is “over 1 year old” but I made this thread in August 2007 according to my first post...
BTW, the cause of MY issue it seems is that my neck muscles are so weak, so messed up, along with misalignment in neck and spine (due to multiple car accidents and me never getting treated for whiplash but I was getting more injuried each time) that when I get that dizzy foggy headed feeling it’s because extreme tension in the neck area ( occipital , etc) CAN CUT OFF CIRCULATION/BLOOD FLOW TO THE BRAIN..... Therefore creating all those horrible symptoms.
Unfortunately 100+ Chripractor adjustments, countless massages, etc, I haven’t been able to get better.
But there might be one hope for me: all these years later I finally realized (by just googling searching) that I need an EMG of the neck so they can check if there is nerve damage, or the muscles are damaged, etc. When your neck (and back muscles also) are SO TIGHT that words cannot even being to describe it, then this test should give me some answers. I hope I don’t have like permanent muscle fiber tears or tissue damage, but considering how long I have had this problem and just “tried to live with it”
then I don’t know.
But at least I can finally get a test done that will show the utter craziness happening in my neck. I once had a scan 5+ years ago that showed tension in the neck and back. It was color coded for severity, and in the neck area (like C3) it was so bad it was colored black and the length of the line was so long it didn’t fit the paper. The reading literally went off the charts. Also did in multiple areas in my back.
Hello.
I kept your post long time ago. I had pretty much similiar situation like you before and experienced a lot of massages, physios and so on. Now I am fighting with the insurance com to appeal for my benefits which gave me a chance to review your post again. I almost lost my job due to the dizziness and weakness. But I am pretty much recovered by myself with nutritional suppliments etc. and I found this should be your way to go. Hope you recover soon. Jackie
Has anyone found anything out? I see these posts are old, but I’m in the same boat ~ dizzy, vertigo, eye issues, it has gotten progressively worse the last few weeks and is affecting my quality of life like walking, driving, shopping. I have seen so many specialists over the years and there is never anything wrong. I feel like I’m losing it. All feedback would be great!
