No I didn't have to take the test when I first met with the surgeon. But I have to take it in a week and I smoked 1 cig today. Ugh!! I am ready to give it up completely but I'm having a rough time! From what I've read, I should be good. But I'm nervous and would like to see results from others in my situation. I'm very excited about my surgery and wouldn't be surprised if I had to take a urine test the day of lol
I feel the same way. It is a rough road- luckily my husband is quitting along with me. It's very hard to break the habit-- the Nicotine is not that tough for me. Habits are killing me though. So many times I want one just because I'm in the car or having a cup of coffee. Ugh!
