I've had this for a while now and i am not sure if it's a weird case of smegma or something entirely different.
When i pull back my foreskin a little past the head of the penis into the beginning of the shaft of the penis, i see this sort of dead skin that's just laying there. It's kinda of white i guess, but it's also sort of has a tinge of yellow in it. I know smegma is a build of white flaky skin cells, but this stuff i'm experiencing is sort of brown like it's become dirty or something.
I'm not experiencing any pain, swelling, irritation, inflammation, nothing. Though it use to affect all around my penis, the side affecting the right side of my penis has peeled off and no build up has came back since.

So basically one half of my penis under the skin around the shaft and rim of the head has a build up of this yellowly brown white tinged dead skin, and the other half has flaked off and exposes normal looking and healthy skin.

If you know what's going on i would appreciate it alot if you can share your experience and diagnose this.

PS: this cannot be an STD as i am still a virgin.
i have the same problem i've been trying to find out what it is and how it can be solved but do not have the balls to go to a doctor(i do not mean that literally):-P

I have the same problem. Started 6 months ago. I thought it might be the allergy medicine I was taking, but I've stopped taking it for about 4 months now. It appeared to have stopped a little (although not entirely), but now it's back again. I feel no pain, redness, etc. The only symptom is I see dead skin on the penis head when I peel back my penis head skin. I wash it off with just plain water, but it comes back only after 2-3 days. I too, do not have the balls to go to the doctor (not literally lol).

I also have the same problem and i acutally went to the doctors about it but i cleaned it all off so she didnt get a look at it but she said its from sweating and told me to wear loose fitting boxers and clean it everyday, and i also think it a yeast build up so she came me a yeast cream you just rub on 2 times a day, and it seems to be going away, im only about a week in and she said 3-5 weeks so. But heres the thing it could of been caused from masturbating, but in my case is that i slept with a girl and did not use lube and the sex was dry after 30 min and i cause like a irritation from dry sex so like a rug burn pretty much on the inside of my forskin and its just really dry and tight like it hurts to pull the skin back and now that skin needs time to heal and the cream helps.. the cream is just for a male yeast infection, so quit being a p***y you dont have an std, so just whip it out to your doctor for 30 seconds and look away and they will give you some cream

Sounds like smegma, which can be white, or yellowish, or even brown (if it is left for a long time). Smegma is not just dead skin - it is a sort of paste made up of the natural lubricants produced by your skin combined with dead skin cells and other body fluids. It is not harmful in itself, but it can attract bacteria, and these can cause irritation, itching, swelling and so on. It's important to clean it off every day (carefully, using warm water - don't scrub or use strong soaps) to prevent accumulation. You can also use a penis health cream (Man1 Man Oil is a popular brand) to cut down on bacteria and odors.

Yeah i have just realised i had this, if i pull the foreskin on my penis back so far this weird white flaky dead skin appears so i am trying to peel it off. It doesn't really irritate my penis in any way, and i don't really ever have an itchy penis. Im worried as to the implications SEND HELP!

Hey everyone um I have been having the same problems like the white yellowish tinge on my penis and every morning I clean it up it disappears and then reappears the next morning. Washing it helps.
I don't have any itch or swelling or irritation , it seems normal the whole day but it becomes dry and flaky and when I wash it, that skin falls off. And my penis looks normal again. Please help me guys I'm 18 don't want to go to the doctor.

Yeah, me too. I've had it for maybe 2 weeks. I was unable to find a wash cloth and I didnt want to use my hands so I just used the jet stream of water, but it takes a long time for it to slowly peel. I'm 13 years old (mom hasnt taken me to the doctors since I was 5) and I kinda dont want to go up to her and say, "my penis is dirty in a weird way, take to the doctors." Lol thats an exaggeration btw.
