Fora about the past year, I have had problems with a weird growth right at the top of my butt crack. I didn't really think about it much in the beginning, but for the past about for months it's been bleeding every day, and it hurts a little to sit down some times. I have never had sexual intercourse before, if that makes any difference. Also, around the time of this incident, my anal area started to smell way worse, and become sweaty way easier. Sorry if that was gross, and I'd really appreciate any help. (Note: I haven't told any one yet because of embarrassment :$ ) Thanks a lot.
your best bet is to go see a doctor if it hurts it could be a sist sorry for my spelling on your tailbone you need surgery to remove it my sister has one every 6 monthes she has to get it drained because it makes it were the pain is so bad she cant walk and she cant afford to get it removed

Ok, thanks for your help. I looked symptoms of a cyst on the tailbone, and it seems like they are higher up, and hurt way more. Mine hurts, but it's not excruciating. I really do not want to tell my parents due to embarrassment, and if I could do anything myself that would be great.

Upon further review, I think it is a cyst :'( . Is there any chance it will go away on its own? It really is embarrassing to tell my parents, and then to show the doctor. Also, are there any repercussions of just letting it sit there for a while? It's a uncomfortable, but more comfortable than telling my parents :$ . Thanks for your help amisick, and thanks in advance to anyone else.

Pilonidal cyst and you HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. The cyst will only get bigger and cause more tissue damage. This is an infection, the cure for it is using local pain killer, a tiny injection, they will drain and irrigate the cyst and install a packing to help it heal. Expect 4-6 weeks for complete resolution and you will be taking antibiotic pills. These damn things have a nasty habit of coming back, so get a doctor experienced in dealing with these cysts.

No I have one. Had it for over 20 years. At first it only got bad to were I couldn't walk or hardly even sit in a vehicle. It is a cyst. Now it's about once a week it comes and goes. Tried telling my doctor about it and he just blew me off. I'm trying to find a doctor who actually gives a sh*t about there patients to get it removed. It a pain in the ass cause I have to use my wife's maxie pads for the drainage.
