Around a month and a half back I started getting weird pains and dizzy type of feelings in my head, the first day the feelings were so intense, it took me around 3 hours to get some sleep, and later I'd wake up for no apparent reason, usually at the same time around 3 AM. These feelings left me, and I was feeling fine for a while. I went to my doctor about it, and he told me it could be many things, and that I should go take an MRI. I took one, and the results came out fine, I didn't have any problems. Now though, I've been having strange feelings again in my head. This time there's really no pain or anything, just sort of like a feeling as if you're not really there.. Also a little light headed. I don't get it all the time, although I don't really know what triggers it.. It's really annoying and all I can really say is that it usually happens after I'm on a computer for a while. I've never had this type of thing, and I don't want to go to my doctor again afraid that I'll come out dissapointed without knowing what I have again. What I'm asking is, does anyone have any idea what this could be? I know that some headaches are caused by different parts of the head, and I have had problems in my jaw for around 2 years before this came up, where I can't even open my mouth without them sounding and feeling.. "rusty" in a way, and it hurts a little. Could that have anything to do with it, or is it stress related, or something else?
I have the same symptoms as you and mine started 2 years after my jaw started acting up. I had braces that helped my jaw for the most part I still have trouble with it once in a while but not as much but then I started having these weird feeling in my head their hard to explain to someone and some days I don't have those feelings & other times ill have those feelings for weeks or even a couple months. I noticed sometimes i also get tingleing feelings in my face and Im not sure what causes it i can be on the computer for a while, something i ate or im stressed about something its different things. I haven't been to a Doctor yet im affraid they may say its something serious like a tumor or something or they may say its nothing and theres nothing i can do to help it..are you or anyone else still having these weird feelings? Thanx
Well I don't think you have to be worried about a tumor since if it was a tumor your symptoms would be constant. I seriously think that the cause of most of my incomforts are just my jaw.. whenever I feel dizzy it's not the type of dizzy where the room's spinning, it's the type of dizzy like if your head weighed more in a way, but not really.. It's hard to describe. Whenever I feel uncomftorable it's always in the same side of my face, I feel a weird feeling along my left part of my jaw and I feel tired in my left eye too. I still go to school, and most of the times when I go to school I completely foget about any of this type of stuff, and am never usually dizzy. I barely feel a little dizzy in school occasionally.. Should I go to the dentist and ask if they could help me with the problem? Thanks.
I know it's been a year since your post but I just saw it. My mom has same problem. She suffers from silent migraines. Hope this helps
I have the same problem. Got much better after changing my glasses. Also I get better by taking some natural choline-enriched food or pills. But still this is bothering me especially when I'm behind and have to finish my programming project soon.
It can also be the "Blue Light" effect from new LED screens. Try using a blue light shield on your screen if is LED back lit.
